Experienced Account Executive

WLWC TV28 - Providence is looking for (2) Experienced Account Executives to join the sales team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Developing new direct business for The CW28 through contact with local and regional advertising agencies and direct local clients.
• Servicing existing billing accounts. Developing incremental and new business revenues, both on-air and online.
• Prepare, coordinate and present sales presentations.
• Maintain a current knowledge of ratings, programs and competitive conditions in the Providence/New Bedford market.
• Prepare weekly and quarterly and annual projections, competitive information and relevant reports as necessary.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Ideal candidate will have successful media sales background, along with a BA or BS degree.
• Ability to create, write and present sales presentations to agencies and local client decision makers.
• Working knowledge of advertising sales and promotional marketing.
• Teamwork and customer service experience necessary.
• Strong computer and clear communications skills a must.
• Attention to detail and follow through is critical.
• Ability to multi-task while maintaining weekly new business leads.
• High energy, passion, desire, drive and motivation are a must to be successful and thrive in this fast paced industry.
